TERMS OF SERVICE

ChooseMyCareer

A Product of Zendev Software Technologies Private Limited

1. About the Platform

ChooseMyCareer (“Platform”) is a career development and professional training platform owned and operated by Zendev Software Technologies Private Limited, having its registered office at:

DOOR NO.3/22, VAVA STREET, SITHAYAN KOTTAI, DINDIGUL,
Sithayankottai, Nilakkottai, Dindigul – 624708, Tamil Nadu
(“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

The Platform provides:

  • Psychometric assessments and career guidance services;
  • Career counselling sessions conducted by independent counsellors;
  • Professional training and certification programs for counsellors;
  • A partner ecosystem enabling certified counsellors to offer services under defined guidelines.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

3. User Categories

3.1 Student Users

Users accessing assessments, reports, and counselling services.

3.2 Parent/Guardian Users

Individuals providing consent for users below 18 years.

3.3 Counsellor Users

Individuals participating in training, certification, and service delivery through the Platform.

4. Eligibility

  • Users must be at least 18 years of age to register independently.
  • Users below 18 years may use the Platform only with verifiable parental consent.
  • Counsellor users must be 18 years or above.
  • Providing false information may result in account suspension.

5. Account Registration

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information;
  • Maintain confidentiality of login credentials;
  • Be responsible for all activities under their account.

Login may be enabled via:

  • Email & Password
  • Mobile OTP
  • Google Login

6. Description of Services

6.1 Student Services

  • Psychometric assessments
  • Career reports
  • Counselling sessions
  • Educational content and webinars

All services are advisory in nature.

6.2 Counsellor Training & Certification

  • Training programs
  • Certification based on evaluation
  • Access to counsellor dashboard
  • Participation in marketplace

Certification does not guarantee employment or income.

7. Certification and Brand Usage

7.1 Certification

Certification may be revoked in case of:

  • Misconduct
  • Misrepresentation
  • Ethical violations
  • Breach of Terms

7.2 Brand Usage

Certified counsellors:

  • Receive limited, non-exclusive, revocable rights
  • Must follow brand guidelines
  • Must not claim employment with the Company

Brand usage may be revoked at any time.

8. Counsellor Marketplace & Relationship

  • The Platform connects students with counsellors.
  • Counsellors are independent professionals.
  • The Company is not responsible for services provided outside the Platform.
  • Private arrangements are at users’ own risk.

9. Payments and Refunds

  • Payments are processed via Razorpay or authorized gateways.
  • The Company does not store banking details.

Refund Policy:

  • Completed services are non-refundable.
  • Refunds (if any) are governed by specific service terms.

10. Intellectual Property

All content including:

  • Psychometric tests
  • Reports
  • Training materials
  • Branding

belongs to Zendev Software Technologies Private Limited.

Unauthorized use is prohibited.

11. Advisory Disclaimer

The Platform does not guarantee:

  • Admissions
  • Scholarships
  • Jobs
  • Business success

All services are for guidance only.

12. Children’s Use and Parental Consent

  • Users below 18 must provide parental consent.
  • The Company may restrict access if consent is not verified.

13. Acceptable Use

Users shall not:

  • Provide false information
  • Misuse platform
  • Impersonate others
  • Share accounts
  • Misuse certification or brand

14. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Use the Platform lawfully
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Avoid unauthorized access attempts

15. Counsellor Code of Conduct

Counsellors must:

  • Provide ethical guidance
  • Avoid false promises
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Use brand responsibly

Violation may result in certification revocation.

16. Session Booking & Cancellation

  • Sessions are booked via the Platform
  • Missed sessions may not be refundable
  • Scheduling issues are not the Company’s liability

17. Platform Role Clarification

The Company acts only as a facilitator.

  • It does not control counsellor actions
  • It is not responsible for outcomes
  • It is not party to external agreements

18. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify the Company against:

  • Misuse of the Platform
  • Violation of Terms
  • False information provided

19. Limitation of Liability

The Company is not liable for indirect damages.

Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by the user.

20. Termination

The Company may:

  • Suspend accounts
  • Revoke certification
  • Remove access
  • Revoke brand usage

21. Investigation Rights

The Company may investigate:

  • Violations
  • Misuse
  • Complaints

and take appropriate action.

22. Force Majeure

The Company is not liable for events beyond control including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Technical failures
  • Government actions

23. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Indian law.

24. Modifications

Terms may be updated anytime. Continued use means acceptance.

25. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between users and the Company.
